The following snippet does not work in an IMAP group:

    (gnus-summary-respool-article #x7ffffff 
                (gnus-find-method-for-group gnus-newsgroup-name))

This is used by gnus-hardsort to permanently resort articles by date, but does
not work with Ma Gnus.
