23.3; Inverse-video on cursor does not work in Cocoa

open the value menu
set inverse-video to on
apply changes

inverse-video, although set, is not reflected in the display.

Thanks for the report. In Emacs 24, when you try to customize the cursor
face, you will see:

   Currently, only the `:background' attribute is meaningful; all
   other attributes are ignored.

It's not implemented on any platform (AFAIK).

Bug 4194 may be relevant, Glenn Morris said:
