Parted crashed on my ubuntu 12.04LTE server.

# sudo  parted /dev/sde unit co print unit s print

Error: /dev/sde: unrecognised disk label

I was trying to create a gpt partition table on a USB memory stick. I’m not sure, this is allowed.
