I'm using Emacs/GTK+ from Git with the latest commit being

Emacs aborts on my machine when doing the following actions:

*) emacs -Q

*) Enter in the scratch buffer:

   (setq bidi-display-reordering t)

 and evaluate with C-x C-e.

*) Hit <Return> and then enter

   (setq bidi-paragraph-direction 'right-to-left)

 and evaluate with C-x C-e.

*) Hit 4 times <up>

Emacs aborts with

Breakpoint 1, abort () at emacs.c:437
437       kill (getpid (), SIGABRT);
