This is the same bug as https://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=58154 which is fixed in git (http://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=guile.git;a=commitdiff;h=c0004442b7691f59a0e37869ef288eb26382ad9e).

This bug is quite terrible so hopefully we'll get a new release out soon.
