- install guix 1.0.0, only pick xfce desktop environment
- when you log in there's no "Network Connections" in Applications > Settings, and there's no network applet in the panel
What I did to work around it:
- sudo nmtui to connect to wifi
- guix install network-manager
- guix install network-manager-applet
- log out and back in again
- there's a network applet in the panel, and "Network Connections" can be found under Applications > Settings.
