just reading the patches, I saw in:

[PATCH 5/9] gnu: awscli-2: Add missing inputs.

That you added python-pytest to native-inputs, but the tests are
disabled, if I'm not mistaken, reading the context lines just above.

Maybe this could warrant an explanation or comment.
