In the terminal, start the Emacs Daemon: /Applications/Emacs.app/Contents/MacOS/Emacs --daemon 2. In the terminal, start a new Emacs Frame on the daemon: /Applications/Emacs.app/Contents/MacOS/bin/emacsclient -c 3. The frame will not have focus. First focus it. 4. Use Apple-W to close the frame. 5. The GUI Emacs Application should still be running without any active frames. Try opening one of the Menu's. Emacs Crashes.
