The make check has failed after running these command
$ ./configure --prefix=/share/apps/utils/libtool-2.4.6
$ make
$ make check

Here are some of the machine details
$ uname -a
Linux castor.narit.or.th 2.6.32-504.8.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Jan 28
21:11:36 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

$ gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 4.4.7 20120313 (Red Hat 4.4.7-4)
